Karen Daigle is the Principal of Galvez Primary School.

Daigle has been an employee of Ascension Parish Schools for more than 25 years. She spent 10 years as an elementary teacher before moving into different leadership roles. She has served as a teacher coach, TAP master teacher, assistant principal, and principal of Lowery Elementary School.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My name is Michele Courtney.  It has been my pleasure to be a part of Galvez Primary School since 1999, as a parent, teacher, and teacher coach. Currently, I am serving as the Assistant Principal.  The faculty and staff are so excited to be able to teach your children.  It is a privilege that we do not take lightly.  Thank you for being a part of our community.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Christy Scott is a new Assistant Principal of Galvez Primary.  She earned a bachelor’s degree from Nicholls State University and a master’s degree from American College of Education. Scott has over 25 years of experience in education. She has served as a 2nd grade Math, Science/Social Studies teacher at Donaldsonville Primary, and most recently served as a Master Teacher at Gonzales Middle.
